SSMT is excited to introduce a new 750-hour Massage Therapy Program taught in Spanish, designed for Spanish-speaking students who want to build a rewarding career in massage therapy. The program emphasizes the knowledge, skills, and attitudes used by the most successful massage therapists.
Our 750-hour program combines classroom education, hands-on training, and supervised clinical experience to prepare you for a career in massage therapy.

Our curriculum has been designed to first create a foundation from which a student can steadily build confidence, knowledge, and skill.
Teacher/student ratios are kept low, so that students receive abundant individual attention, and SSMT instructors are skilled at looking for, and drawing out, the best in each student.
Guest instructors augment the regular faculty. Experts in various systems of bodywork teach many of the bodywork survey classes (short introductions to their specialized forms of massage therapy).
By completion of the program, the student will:
Florida law requires anyone who practices touch therapies for compensation to have a massage therapy license. Candidates for licensure must pass an exam administered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) as a requirement for licensure.
SSMT English language program graduates have extremely high pass rates on the MBLEx; in 2024-2025 the pass rate was 95%. The Spanish program shares many of the most important features with the English program.
The cost of the exam and the $155 fee for Florida licensure are included in SSMT tuition.
Students planning to practice in another state may contact the school for information regarding the state in which they are interested in practicing. Many other states also use the same exam as a requirement for licensure.

6 p.m.–10:45 p.m.
With occasional Monday evening classes, students can complete the program in less than one year.
Monday–Friday
8 a.m.–1 p.m.
Complete the 750-hour program in approximately 7 months.
