The purpose of this foundational Ortho-Bionomy course is two fold: to recognize beneficial movement throughout the body, and to restore it where it may be been lost.
Your body is built to move and relies on right movement for all its inner processes, particularly self-healing. Movement may be mechanical or fluid in nature, may be large or small, forgotten or exaggerated.
Participants will practice listening for movement with their hands and will learn techniques which bring about spontaneous changes in movement. Particular focus will be given to movements which enhance balanced posture and gait, support a stable pelvis and coordinate the rhythmical processes in the body.
Come join a weekend of enlivening playful table work!
