The high rate of student satisfaction at SSMT is due in large part to the inspiration of the faculty. The instructors have extensive experience in the field of massage therapy and bodywork, and are not only experts in their subject, but are also keenly aware of the needs of each student in the class.
Teacher/student ratios are kept low, so that students receive abundant individual attention, and SSMT instructors are skilled at looking for, and drawing out, the best in each student.
Guest instructors augment the regular faculty. Experts in various systems of bodywork teach many of the bodywork survey classes (short introductions to their specialized forms of massage therapy).
