Maya is an experienced massage therapist, educator, and licensed esthetician with more than 15 years of experience in the health and wellness field. A 2011 graduate of the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy, she has continued to expand her professional expertise through advanced international training, including the study of Ayurvedic massage in India and Thai massage in Thailand.
Since graduating, Maya has maintained a private massage therapy practice in the Sarasota area, developing extensive hands-on experience while continuing to advance her professional credentials. Her combination of clinical experience, specialized training, and years in private practice provides students with valuable insight into both therapeutic techniques and the practical aspects of working successfully in the profession.
Maya teaches Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Ayurvedic Massage, and Hydrotherapy, drawing upon her diverse education and professional experience to provide students with a well-rounded approach to massage therapy and wellness.
Outside of her professional career, Maya enjoys traveling and spending time with her three children.
