How to Enroll

Learn If SSMT Is Right For You

A tour is a good way to get a feel for the school. An admissions guide can show you around the facility, you can observe a class, and schedule a complimentary massage. We can also help you with the process of applying for financial aid. The school periodically holds open houses and other discovery events which are great opportunities to hear the answers to all the questions other people have as well as visit with staff, graduates, and current students.

Enrollment Procedures

Transferring Credits?

SSMT awards credit for previous academic work. The amount of credit is determined on a case-by-case basis. An official transcript outlining prior training should be submitted with the SSMT application. Students transferring credit may be required to pass written or practical exams administered by SSMT in the courses being transferred.

Transferability of credit from SSMT is at discretion of receiving institution.

Equal Opportunity Learning

Sarasota School of Massage Therapy welcomes the richness that diversity brings to our community. We admit many international students, and are proud to attract students of many backgrounds to our massage therapy program.

SSMT models an atmosphere of acceptance and inclusion in which all individuals are supported and integrated within our academic and social communities.

Space is Limited

Swedish Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy classes have one instructor for every thirteen students or less (half of these are practicing while the other half are receiving massage). Other practical classes and lecture classes have one instructor for twenty students or less.
