Saturday: Osteopathic Muscular Therapy – Upper Body: A unique combination of Osteopathic techniques, myofascial techniques, and trigger point techniques, the Osteopathic Muscular Therapy is done with your clients fully clothed. A specialized hand position eliminates the use of your thumb for over 90% of the treatments. This course teaches specific treatments for upper body muscles that are the cause of: *Tension headaches *Sinus *TMJ *Tinnitus *Whiplash *Rotator Cuff Injury *Frozen Shoulder *Golfer/Tennis Elbow *Carpal Tunnel Syndrome *Trigger Finger *Back Pain Self-treatments are taught for each muscle so you can prevent, or treat, your own injuries.
Sunday: Osteopathic Muscular Therapy – Lower Body: In depth study of the muscles that are the source of pain in the low back, hip, knee, and sciatica, and the muscles of the lower leg and foot. Client remains dressed, no oil used. Osteopathic techniques are taught, treating muscles in the most logical order to enable pressure to be removed from subsequent muscles so each is able to fully release tension on both the origination of the muscle, and on the insertion at the bone/joint. Self-treatments are taught for each muscle so you can prevent, or treat, your own injuries.
