Dr. Deanine Picciano is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncturist, massage therapist, herbalist and educator. She has a private practice in Sarasota, Florida with an emphasis on women & children’s health and healing the whole person.
She has taught continuing education since 2001 and is committed to empowering her students with an integrative model of care, sharing the art and science of healing modalities and empowering students to connect to the whole person. In her course Meridian Fascial cupping, she weaves the science and art of gua sha, fascial meridian therapy, traditional Chinese medicine cupping therapy, herbal application and techniques for pain and enhancing wellbeing.
For the last 30 years, Dr. Deanine has been dedicated to studying healing traditions from all over the world including herbology, classical homeopathy, functional medicine, qi gong and CranioSacral Therapy thru the Upledger Institute. She is trained in dolphin assisted therapy, Craniosacral for Pediatrics and SomatoEmotional Release. Dr. Deanine is a professionally trained and qualified practitioner of The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage therapy and is grateful to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to her educational classes.
