If you are considering a career as a massage therapist, it will be helpful to visit the facility, sit in on a class, and get a massage in the student clinic. A tour is a good way to get a feel for the school to decide if it's right for you. An admissions representative can show you around the new facility, with its cork floors, high ceilings and skylights. We can also help you with the process of applying for Federal student aid so that you'll know if you qualify for grants and/or loans.
The school periodically holds open houses, which are great opportunities to hear the answers to all the questions other prospective students have as well as visit with staff, graduates, and current students.
Admission Requirements
1. Be at least 18 years of age.
2. Have a high school diploma, GED and/or college credit.
3. Have received at least one professional massage by a licensed massage therapist or a student in the SSMT student clinic.
4. Complete the following enrollment requirements:

1. Complete a campus tour.
2. Apply for Financial Aid, if applicable.
3. Submit a completed SSMT application and a $100 application fee. The fee is non-refundable unless the class is cancelled.
4. Submit a copy of a high school diploma, GED, or college degree/transcript.
5. Submit an SSMT physician's statement, signed by a licensed physician.
6. Compete an enrollment interview with one of the admissions representatives.
